Matthew Beesley
Chief Investment Officer
Matthew joined Jupiter in January 2022. In the CIO role, Matt has overall responsibility for the management of all of Jupiter’s investment professionals and strategies across equities, fixed income and multi-asset. Supported by the CIO office team, he will also have oversight of the associated functions that form the backbone of the company’s investment process, including its dedicated stewardship, data science, dealing and performance analysis teams. Matt reports directly to CEO Andrew Formica and is a member of the Executive Committee.With nearly 25 years of experience in the investment industry, Matt joined Jupiter from Artemis, where he had been CIO since April 2020. Prior to this, Matt was Head of Investments at GAM Investments from 2017 to 2020, where he was responsible for the management and oversight of its investment strategies managed by teams based in Europe, Asia and the US. From 2012 to 2017, Matt was Head of Global Equities and portfolio manager at Henderson, responsible for a team managing significant assets in global, international (World ex US) and Global Socially Responsible investment strategies. Matt is a member of the Church of England Pension Board’s Investment Committee, advising on $4bn of ethically invested pension fund assets.

Katharine Dryer
Deputy Chief Investment Officer
Before joining Jupiter, Katharine worked as a managing director in BlackRock’s Euro Fixed Income and Multi-Asset Client Solutions teams. Prior to this, she worked at Morgan Stanley and Deutsche Asset Management, where she was a fixed income specialist. She began her investment career in 1997.
Katharine has a Master’s degree in Modern and Medieval Languages and an MBA.
