About us

Founded in 1985 as a specialist boutique, Jupiter has become one of the UK’s most respected investment management businesses. We are an active fund manager seeking to add value for our clients through the delivery of investment performance over the medium to long term. Our investment culture is built on allowing talented fund managers the freedom to pursue their own individual investment approach on behalf of our clients, subject to mandate restrictions and risk requirements.

Jupiter has a high performing culture of employee ownership that reinforces the Group’s ability to recruit, motivate and retain talented individuals, aligning the interests of clients, shareholders and employees with the success of the company.

Our head office is based in central London and we are growing internationally, with distribution satellite offices in Europe and Asia. We currently employ approximately 446* staff globally.

  • We will implement unconscious bias training for our leadership team
  • We will conduct regular employee surveys to ensure we understand current diversity and inclusion issues and that they are consistently being addressed
  • In order to build a healthy gender balance into our talent pipeline, we will aim for 40% female participation on our high potential programme
  • We will ensure that women are engaged in the company-wide mentoring programme, both as mentors and mentees

Investment 2020

Jupiter is proud to be part of Investment 2020 and therefore able to offer trainee opportunities. Investment 2020 is a scheme run by a number of investment management companies with offices based in the UK. We offer school leavers and recently graduated university students the opportunity to gain paid work experience in our firms.

Our opportunities

We are offering year-long placement opportunities in a number of different business areas to school leavers and graduates who are passionate about gaining work experience in the investment management industry. We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals who are keen to make the most of their placement.

At Jupiter, we invest in our people. We have a high-performance culture and a working environment where individuals can really make an impact.

We have a focus on developing our employee’s skills and you will receive training and development during your time with us. Our vacancies are advertised internally, so we hope that at the end of their placements, trainees will either be able to secure a permanent role with us, or use the work experience to gain another role in the industry.
